Stepford Butterflies: Chapter 1
Added 2022-02-16 13:00:06 +0000 UTCTime for another multi part story, after some time of mostly oneshots. I've had this one started in my drafts for months, but finally got around to finishing the story. It was inspired by the existence of youth organizations, and how they might operate in Stepford.

Oh hell yeah! Happy to have inspired you. I’ve definitely been thinking about this theme a lot after reading these two stories, and I think there’s a lot of potential there! Daughters unable to understand why their mom’s personality has changed overnight, mothers excited by the chance to break out of a midlife crisis…

I did realize I hadn't done enough nerd stepfordization yet, though there are also a few other archetypes in dire need of being straightened out (though I won't say who just yet~). And while it wasn't intentional to show two mothers being stepfordized like that so close together, your comment did inspire me to jot down some ideas for a story focusing on that theme...

The Gundam models are a nice touch, we’ve seen you Stepfordize punks and feminists before but nerds don’t come up that often. Speaking of feminists, I love that between “Stepfather Knows Best” and now this one we’re seeing a trend of daughters watching their formerly feminist and independent mothers get Stepfordized basically overnight. It’s very fun
