Hello~ Hope everyone is having a swell week! And I hope this story makes it even better!

I knew I wanted to dip into something a little bit more sinister with this story. It's inspired by a few different stories I've seen around the internet over the years, but giving it a Stepford spin. A common thread in them was the idea of a woman being broken down in a facility of some sort, and then built back up into the sort of person her doctors want her to be. I've always been very fond of this type of transformation, and I like to allude to it every now and again with the idea of reeducation in Stepford. I also wrote a story very early on in my prose period which was about one pivotal day in a woman's stay at a facility like that.

What sets this story apart though is the format. I'm sure you've noticed that I enjoy playing with style every so often, shifting from first person stories to third person, to stories with flashbacks, or which are written like journal entries. This story is dialogue only, with no narration at all. I wanted to write it as if it were a series of recordings, documenting a woman's stay at a reeducation facility in Stepford, and specifically her conversations with her doctor there.
