Phew this one was tricky, unlike bow animations, crossbows don't have standalone files for movement while aiming, instead it blends some bones from the aimed idle with the non-aimed walking animations, which already blend with the running animations as I've come to expect from Skyrim, keeping notes of which bones' data take priority on which animation was key to getting balanced blending.
Also seems to apply to sneak crossbow animations, which I'll be getting into very soon.
Special thanks to Kars! Who brought neat quality of life improvements to the rig I used to make this, which allowed me to visualize crossbows (sheathed and unsheathed!) in Blender instead of relying on trial and error.
These animations will replace, while holding a crossbow, the idle, walks, runs, sprint, draw/reload bolt, aimed idle, aimed bolt turn, bolt release, equip and unequip, including specific adjustments for Dwarven crossbows where possible.
Make sure you uninstall the WIP version.
Use any mod manager or manually copy the content from your chosen attached file's 'Data' folder into your Skyrim's 'Data' folder.
Dynamic Animation Replacer is required to prevent motion blending and clipping with sneak animations.
True Directional Movement is highly recommended.
