October Release Plans
Added 2024-10-02 01:38:28 +0000 UTCHello folks, here's the list of plans for October. To start I'll be finishing up the non-combat room updates to RogueLove which weren't quite ready for the 0.25 release, and fixing up any other glitches I can along the way.
For MGG I have a few things I want to work on planned. To start, I had an idea recently for implementing an expanded island plan into the game sooner than expected. This is just a test idea, but if it works it will be a huge step forward. I would like to continue working on the expanded NPC conversation/relationship system, and I definitely want to put a focus on bug fixes before adding anything else (definitely gonna be looking at those Auto-Cleaners this time around).
And lastly for 69 Days After I'll be finishing up the last 3 character combination photos, fixing up some old/missing writing, and finally finishing the Steam page and any last assets needed for the Steam release (trailer, graphics, etc).
RogueLove v0.25.1 (October 3rd) <-Now Available!!
[X] New Non-Combat room; Constitution rolls (player is trapped by s** devices and has to endure them to clear barrier)
[X] New Event for Bar/Club room (Strip your way out is an alternate version of the Bar/Club which allows you to leave your clothing behind to exit the room for free) The goal of this room used to be randomized, now the player can pick it
[X] The Bar/Club now lets you choose your exit strategy, there are 3 ways to dispell the barrier
[X] 6 Goblin NPCs spawn in the Bar/Club (non-hostile, unless attacked), they can be spoken to for flavour text, or you can attack them to choose the Fight option
[X] Chugging 5 beers dispels the barrier like before, but the Player can also go on stage and choose to give up their clothes to dispel the barrier
[X] On the mobile version alternate interaction options (like Pulling crates instead of Pushing them) are activated by pressing the Block command, instead of trying to Sprint and Interact at the same time
[X] Fixed a glitch from the last version causing the wrong boss to spawn
[X] Fixed a glitch with prisoners, the new system which prints interactions before they're decided on was overlapping multiple instances of the decision selection menu, stacking up to the point where the whole screen was black with only the options visible

MGG Expanded Island (October 17th) <-Now Available!!
[X] Test plan to implement expanded island
[X] Make Expanded Island playable, including all new versions of the current sections of the map (only a secondary test map for now, the main map will not be replaced until full functionality is implemented)
[X] Redesigned Forest and tree lines on Expanded Island
[X] Converted geometry brushes into static meshes; improved performance
[X] Fixed a light build error on the Expanded Island; improved performance even more
[X] Fixed an error on the Expanded Island where the Arena components were spawning in backwards (player on the right, enemy on the left)
[X] Fixed a glitch in the Pay Debt event on the Expanded Island
[X] Fixed some map errors on the Expanded Island which were stacking up, and eventually affecting performance
MGG v1.44b (October 26th) <-Now Available!!

[X] Add functionality to dildos, if one is in the pen when m***turbating monsters will use it, reducing the time it takes by 20%

[X] Fixed a glitch in the Post Office, Tutorial instruction was blocking the exit button, causing a soft-lock
[X] Fixed a glitch in the Furnaces where taking items back added to inventory, but didn't reduce Furnace storage, allowing Players to create infinite Ore
[X] Fixed a glitch in the Arena which was displaying the Feral Monster defeat prompt upon victory
[X] Fixed a number of HUD errors where the Player would continue moving if they were moving when the menu appeared
[X] Fixed a repeating error caused by Lamias which could eventually cause slow down
[X] Fixed a bunch of instances of specific food items not being able to be placed in troughs
[X] Fixed Autocleaner functionality, and Filters list now works as intended
[X] Fixed a glitch where players could pick up a seed (using hold Shift) while planting, and the resulting tree would default to 0,0,0 (the center of the garden)
[X] Fixed a glitch in Autocleaners which was displaying Repair and Condition elements on the storage HUD which were not necessary, and were blocking other elements
[X] Fixed a glitch in Autocleaners where the Filters were logically backwards. Updated the checkboxes to green and red squares to clarify their effect
