i basically now know what it's like to be a surgeon

ever built a pc? i remember on reddit when i first wanted to build a computer. people compared it to "adult legos", what type of FUCKING LEGOS ARE YOU WORKING WITH MAN. so i got some cash that came in and i was like hey! why not upgrade my computer!! I mean it's not running as fast and maybe it needs a bit of a boost so I can work faster!! So i bought a liquid cooler, now liquid coolers expose you to a level of STRESS higher than the empire state building times 1 billion. Firstly i open the package and look for a manual, and there is none. NO FUCKING MANUAL. i have to scan a qr code and go on NZXT's website to even have a chance of using the product i paid like 12 trillion billion dollars to use! so i follow the manual carefully and finally install the liquid cooler. NOW i gotta put it in the case, I was moving from the really REALLY bad H510 to a really swag 5000D (the 5000d is like the best computer part i've ever owned), after completing what I imagine is akin to heart surgery whilst in my tiny ass room, I turned on the PC. excited to not hear the loud fans, and excited to not feel the extremely high temps.
it idled at fucking 50 degrees.. for context my NDH-15 the fan i was upgrading from, idles at 40 and rarely goes above 80 in all circumstances. 1 little stress test and this LIQUID COOLER is reaching degrees of 100. Now i designed my case and fan orentiation specifically for airflow and BAM!! 100 DEGREES.

I look it up and apparently right.. air cooling is better than liquid cooling unless your going for the 12 trillion dollar liquid cooler. SO THEN. I HAVE TO DETATCH THE LIQUID COOLER I JUST BOUGHT. SALVAGE THE FANS TO USE IN MY CASE AND THENNNNNNNN PUT BACK IN THE THING I JUST BOUGHT.. 

after about literally 12 hours of work i finally built it and its a whole 10% better than last time but i will take that as an absolute win. I would rather pay someone to build a pc then go through the stress to do it myself again!
