'The Perfect Excuse' - Spoken Word 2020

This is the original pitch I sent to the lads which I found recently on my computer! I think it possibly captures the life of an introvert better than the song does. I hope you like it! It definitely has some lines that I wanted to get into the song but they wouldn't fit the melody

It's just a different perspective. Exclusively from the lack-of-contact -with-other-people point of view lockdown was easy for me. Thanks Conor for this spoken word piece about, well, me 😁

Often go to please others, but never actually enjoy just learn to pass it off, make all the right noises. Much happier when I don't have to have the anxiety of not being able to say no or actually having to go.
