Added 2021-05-11 11:21:38 +0000 UTCThis was a tricky sketch to write, but a very fun one to film. For the second week running, we're doing something different. Fueled from a place of anger and disbelief, we wrote a sketch that deals with a frustrating issue in Ireland, hoping to lampoon the peoples involved - the goal is still to make people laugh! Usually, with a serious issue, we'd subvert the idea, using surrealism, take it to a different realm, or use exaggeration or silliness to disguise the message, so as not to be too preachy! Not sure we could do that with this one, the target is the target - and anything else just seemed to confuse the matter. Nevertheless, we did 'due diligence' and tried as best we could to keep it silly. Its a short one, so we could get extra camera angles, and play around with the performances. I hope you enjoy it, and it gives you all a laugh. We're happy to experiment these days, keeps us on our toes!

This sketch was very well done, and there's nothing wrong with creating a hard-hitting, relatable satire once in a while instead of lighthearted stuff. It's lovely to see that there were lots of smiles and giggles behind the scenes in spite of the serious theme!

For the toy, the upper left has a green background, yellow writing and red image that looks to be the Duplo trademark. (This nerd here likes her Legos.) Upon a quick google search, I think it’s the alphabet truck. I imagine the box is for storage but I fancy the idea that Foil is practicing more acute pediatric occupational therapy on the lads…or they’re brushing up on their alphabet for the live streams. :P
