Oh SHI- We got Pirates!!

The game has been spread out among the internets, which I think is amazing! The problem is that the version which got out was the silver build from last month.
I'm not blaming anybody. There's tons of people who sign up for a brief period to take what they want, and then back out before they get charged. I think this is tantamount to stealing, but there's really nothing I can do about it until Patreon rolls out their Pay to Access feature to all accounts.
This does mean I am going to have to start looking into anti-piracy protection. Until I find a more secure method passwords will be placed on all new versions, and only released to patrons who have made completed payments.
So sorry to the innocent that the guilty have made suffer, that's one of my biggest problems with society.

I have the same issue, but I have decided not to actively change the game or delivery process because I can't think of a method that would be effective against pirates without making the experience more difficult for my patrons.
