Henri's Great Play is probably one of the funniest bad but in a good way low-bugdet productions of all time, right up there with The Room, while at the same time being actually witty and showing the personality of not only the "actors" but also the characters they represent. It was really awesome

2023-11-21 00:18:52 +0000 UTCSuch a great chapter. I was giddy when Max said that James had a guardian angel that was going to net him 10 points. The loan to Tranmere is also a great way to launder some money for both Max and Chester. Plus, now that he's going to play in League 2 for a bit, he can use bench boost, triple captain, etc. again. Not only that, if Tranmere are still in the League Cup, he can do it twice. Hopefully Max can break his mental bottleneck.

2023-11-20 18:45:19 +0000 UTCTed, your brain is a wonderfully strange place. And I laughed out loud at that 'in the new year' line. Tranmere should be fun too.

2023-11-20 15:46:23 +0000 UTCAlso, I'm really disappointed for Raffi. Why call in more players than you can have on the bench?

2023-11-20 15:36:27 +0000 UTCHoly crap. He's on loan to Tranmere.

2023-11-20 15:14:03 +0000 UTCMax has only gone and loaned HIMSELF, hasn't he?!?

2023-11-20 14:32:34 +0000 UTCCan't agree, but I can understand where you feel like they're not as intense. Not every single chapter can, or needs to be, another part of the rollercoaster. Sometimes he's got to let things breathe a bit so he can set up new domino chains to knock over.

2023-11-20 14:30:48 +0000 UTCThe Kindle will be out Dec 12 and last time they did the paperback a few days earlier. I'll let you know!

2023-11-20 14:06:00 +0000 UTCI can understand how "Henri's" writing might feel clunky and disrupt the expected style, but I felt that was part of the delegation vibe. Max takes a back seat and Ted does too. How would you say that the chapters differed from previous ones? Less drama, comedy, tragedy? You could be experiencing a pace drop?

2023-11-20 13:55:26 +0000 UTCHenri really went out there for his magnum opus (choc covered cat shaped ice cream lolly).

2023-11-20 13:50:47 +0000 UTCCould be any chapter's title. So to distinguish it demands a special brand of OMG WTF That was my response to last January transfer dealings (MD MD, what were you thinking?)

2023-11-20 13:50:36 +0000 UTCThese last two chapters haven't quite hit the mark as the others I feel.
