What a great chapter! Curse-wise, we got access to the Injury perk (great value with so many players from 3 teams on Max' screens), CA-ceiling progress for Henri now and possibly others later thanks to loaning, and the tantalizing possibility of increasing PA through loopholes of sorts like God Save the King. Football-wise, we got a confident Jackie and a solid win for the women, and, unfolding through well thought out preparation scenes (with more advanced than usual concepts) and some electrifying snippets of the game, commentary and related interview, we got 40k, a postponed match and a giant killing for the men. And character-wise, we got a beautiful heart to heart with Henri (one of the best scenes of the entire story for me), some mentions AND actual screen-time for the forgotten Triplet, more displays of the team truly buying-in and believing in the project, and personal growth for Max in dealing with adversity and injustice. I'm kinda proud of him! Can't wait to read more, whether it's the aftermath of this game, set-up for the upcoming Darlington showdown, big-picture sections for any of Max' 3 teams, slice-of-life scenes with his friends or Emma, or developments on any of the many threads, plots and schemes on the back burner. Thank you so much for the chapter!
