2023-10-03 11:38:45 +0000 UTCI know for a fact that Eddie Howe read this chapter out loud in the dressing room before the Sheffield United game.

2023-10-03 11:13:53 +0000 UTCShe was in the story, by Max's side alot recently, buy now she's making up for all that time she took off work. Youngster has been absent recently, but I don't think it's because he and Max are growing apart. Many characters and limited time and whatnot. If she still replies instantly to his texts, then she's still on board.

2023-09-15 14:20:09 +0000 UTCDespite my perennial dislike of Max's self-inflicted social problems, this one didn't really bother me. I think it was the fact that the conflict was internal to the team - it didn't feel like one of Nick's arbitrary wrenches in the gears, more like natural progress in his growth as a manager. And I loved Dani's little reaction to the armband. Now, to invite a time machine to remove the days until next chapter.

2023-09-12 01:06:10 +0000 UTCYou know it goes beyond whether or not they are in the chapter. Maybe try flexing those reading comprehension skills.

2023-09-12 01:02:27 +0000 UTCI'm not, anyways. Emma doesn't need to be in every chapter - this one was basically just one long workday.

2023-09-12 00:09:57 +0000 UTCI get wanting her in the narrative more, but she is working hard in Newcastle on allowing other characters a chance to shine. Not that they will glow like a devine spirit like some characters. Unless we get to know them as well as Ems.

2023-09-11 23:53:18 +0000 UTCI saw your promo post on Reddit for PM1 and decided to give it a go. Read the KU book in a day, read the RR chapters and am now subscribed to your Patreon. Great take on game lit, I'm really looking forward to seeing where you take the story.

2023-09-11 20:07:53 +0000 UTCQuit the story? No way! It is a fantastic story. Sure, I will keep my opinions internal going forward. No problem.

2023-09-11 19:25:09 +0000 UTCHi. Thanks for reading and I really appreciate the support but it's not a side quest so feel free to quit.

2023-09-11 19:09:15 +0000 UTCI should have been more clear.... For this story, do it all! I love it! But for soccer as a sport, not a litrpg, I'm not in to the money.

2023-09-11 18:56:16 +0000 UTCHi. I love your story. I just wanted to say that i skipped almost all the chapter due to the women team. I think it is good writing and all that but i lost interest in Dani and the women team side. There is nothing wrong there, if is just feel like a side quest. I will prefer more about the young team, it is s side quest to but of a different kind. Thanks tho!

2023-09-11 18:55:19 +0000 UTCI disagree. In any league with promotion and relegation, transfers and how the club spends its money is often the most important part of a teams season. Look at Brighton, Brentford, Luton, or even Hiedenhiem (German team). They play football, but they use the market to punch above their weight consistently.

2023-09-11 17:22:33 +0000 UTCMy 4 year old just started soccer. He does sound effects. He’ll run up to a ball going “du du du du” then when we kicks it goes “pewm”. So basically he’s the next great American striker.

2023-09-11 16:17:35 +0000 UTCAww damn. I thought that match would be in here too. Now, I'm gutted...is it Friday yet?

2023-09-11 15:19:28 +0000 UTCI only started following soccer (proud to call it that!) when the Atlanta United became a thing, and I basically only follow them, all the leagues confuse me, but I know my home team. But I fucking love the US Open Cup, it's so much fun seeing all these rinky dink teams get their chance for glory. I love it for all the reasons Max loves the FA Cup. I love sports, I love the competition and the glory and the romance and I even love the stats. But not the money part. The business bores me.

2023-09-11 14:56:23 +0000 UTCI haven't been this excited for the next chapter of Max Best: An Underdog Story since the last chapter

2023-09-11 14:05:39 +0000 UTCDarlo video did bite him in the butt, but it looks like it's a learning opportunity for our wunderkind and not a major setback. Unless the fans get too pissed. What's Max going to do when Beth stabs him in the back? Like a "feel good" story about his mom? Love how you dropped on the casual "did some tekkers" at the beginning - shows Max is getting better and his skills is back to the point that it's not even worth remarking on some simple tricks. And it's great foreshadowing for the end of the chapter. Good luck with the audiobook. The only name I remember being pronounced differently than I thought it would be was Gemma, but that might be an English to English translation error.

2023-09-11 13:57:08 +0000 UTCI bet Max's man management stat is "random". One day he inspires people to storm the trenches, the next, he sends them into absolute panic and depression just for fun.
