Script Writing vs Improv
Added 2023-01-21 03:01:44 +0000 UTCFor the last couple weeks I've been moving from script writing to improv. It started during the 12 Days of Audios when I didn't have time to write full scripts. I did a full improv video because I ran out of scripts and didn't have time to write another. It was really fun. It flowed really well and felt very natural. I just stared at a wall in my room and pretended I was having a regular conversation with someone.
I love writing scripts, but they're very time consuming. I can spend an hour or two on just one script and I can record and edit a video in that time.
I'm not entirely sure if script videos are better than improv, or if it's the other way around, but there's not really a way to find out unless I try. So, I'll keep experimenting with improv and scripts, and partial-scripts, until I find something that really works for me.
All this to say, if you don't see a script on here for a video, it probably doesn't have one. (although in the video description I'll still have written by for routine's sake)
