Neko Supervillain Fights an Old Friend Script

The fourth episode in the Neko Superhero turned Villain series! Had Ameba back to record it. We had fun. Lots of giggles behind the scenes. One of these days I'll record something with her, just us chatting. Her acting is so amazing you can't tell who she really is. She's just incredible.

Neko Supervillain Fights an Old Friend 

Hey! You! That is my villain. Put her down! What...? Where are you going? Come back!

~

Hey, what did you do with my villain? I just caught that one, now I'm going to have to catch them again! What were you..

~

Oh. It's you. The 'greatest superhero in the city' turned to a villain. What, was the pressure too much for you?

~

Come to save your little supervillain friend, have you? What, do you all protect each other like a big happy family?

~

Please. If you cared about each other, you wouldn't commit crimes together.

~

Since we are old friends, I'll give you one chance. Bring the villain back, rejoin the superheroes, and I won't hurt you.

~

What do you mean, we're not friends? We used to

~ Villain attacks

Oof!

Ok, so that's how you want to play it, huh? Fine. Villain scum! Traitor! Come at me.

~ Grunting

Did you really think us heroes would even take you back? You betrayed us all! How could you?

~

Everyone hates you. Everyone always hated you! You thought you were so great, but at the end of the day, you were always in the shadow of your previous partner.

~

Ha! You're one to talk about sounding heroic. I can say whatever I want to you, traitor.

~

Woah. That was a little close. You're not fooling around, are you?

~ More fight sounds.

Did you get more powers? New powers? Stronger powers? I've never seen this side of you! And I must say, this is not your good side.

~Fighting

~ Defeated sounds.

~Gasping

You don't have to do this. Please, you don't have to do this! I know there's still good in you. Please.

~Pain

Ok, ok... ok... I'm sorry. I can't... you won. You won, I can't fight anymore. That was the last of my power. I can barely move now. Are you happy? You won.

Are you going to kill me?

You should. You should kill me.

~ugh

You don't know how bad it hurt when you went rouge. I was ready to hunt you down. I was ready to break every oath I've ever taken just to see justice done. Betraying us, the superheroes guild, our team, the family we built for yourselves? Unforgivable.

~

I know we don't know anything personal about each other. We have to keep that hidden to protect each other! You used to understand that. Then Nightflare corrupted your mind.

~

You don't have to do this. You don't have to stay on this path! I've thought it all through... I don't want to kill you now. I can save you! You can come back with me, I swear it.

I have to say... you've gotten stronger. A lot stronger. What have they done to you?

Training? I'd say that's a little more than training. Love the new suit, by the way. It suits you. No pun intended.

Were you always a neko, or did they do that to you?

~

Always, really. I never knew. I mean, you were always smaller than everyone, but I just thought... I don't know what I thought. You hid the ears and the tail very well.

~

I'm glad. I'm glad you can be yourself with the villains. You could have been yourself with us, you know. The heroes, the good side.

~

Oh... um.. yes, I guess that is a recognizable trait, so you weren't technically allowed to tell us..

Do the villains know your secret identity then?

~

You're roommates with Nightflare?!

~

They really have corrupted your mind. Don't you see what they're doing to you?

~Long Pause

Enough! I don't want to hear it. The villains are evil. They always have been, and they always will be. But you're not one of them, do you hear me? You're not! I know you.

~

Ok, ok, alright... I didn't know you. I don't know you. But we could fix that! You can I could talk. We could you know, hang out! Get coffee!

~

What are you above Starkbucks now? I’ll be you and you villain palls go to… Enstien Brother’s Bagels don’t you. Tratior.

~

Regardless!

Maybe we weren't friends. But I would have trusted you with my life. Any of us would! You're right, we don't know each other. And we don't get anything back from what we give to the city. We're not famous, we're not rich, we don’t get to go up in front of TV cameras and go “I am Iron Man!”  and a lot of the time we're lonely. That's just part of the job! It's what we sacrifice so the city can be free, safe, and happy! You used to know that. You used to sacrifice with the rest of us. Why are you doing this? You're betraying all of us! How can you be that selfish?

~

What do you mean? Of course, I’m not tired of sacrificing. It's my duty, my responsibility! I've given up everything for this job, this city! I'm a hero for it!

~

I've never asked for anything in return. Maybe that's not good enough for you, selfish brat, but it's good enough for me!

~

No, no, no! I don't need friends, or fame, or money. I don't need any of that! I just want to keep people safe from the scum of the city, like you! And the actual skum of the city. Seriously, they never clean anything. It’s terrifying. I’m pretty sure that piece of trash just moved.

If you and the other villains weren't so evil, I wouldn't have to do this!

~

The city needs balance. You tipped the scale in the villain’s favor, but not for long! I promise you. I swear to you! You will live to regret the day you chose their side.

~

Hear that? Thundercloud is coming. My partner is coming to save me. And you can't fight them. I know it. You're afraid of rain.

~Laughs (pained)

Run away, little kitten. Until we meet-

~ villain punches them

~ groans

Mutters “we really need health insurance”
