Crushing It: Icy And Henny (WIP)
Added 2025-03-23 21:57:57 +0000 UTCConcept sketch for a CRUSHED ICE vignette I'd like to do, featuring the girls rocking out like a bunch of maniacs: this first pic presents Icy and her gigantic drum kit, as well as her regular-sized keyboardist Henny Lane. Instruments are very hard for me to draw, and I'm at constant odds with my desire to depict things clinically and my hunger for pure emotion-driven art from the shoulder. Eventually you have to stop fretting over perfection and just get drawing, or you'll never accomplish anything. As Actual Cannibal Shia Labeouf says, JUST DO IT!!!
And yes, I do indeed stymie myself by drawing on little pieces of paper instead of literally limitless digital scapes, but I just can't help it. I like getting graphite all over my arms.

2025-03-23 22:40:30 +0000 UTCHaving the ability to be anywhere and make art as long as there's some sort of paper and a pencil is a talent that will never be out of date tho. I know we have smartphones and those fancy pants styluses, but I will forever stan physical art, much as pure digital artists have proven themselves equal artists to me.
