HYDRA 2.0A PRO - RELEASED!

Hello everyone!

This update is dedicated to a new level of stability for all HYDRA functions, higher-quality CPU testing, and the resolution of very rare but painful bugs.

A monumental effort has been made to create entirely new configuration files that determine which tests will be used in CPU diagnostics—ensuring they are effective at uncovering errors without halting diagnostics due to high temperatures on systems with limited cooling. This forms the foundation for the stable operation of both HYBRID OC and standard AMD PBO2. There is, however, a downside: for example, my 7950X is stable on the first CCD only with positive AMD CO. In other words, users accustomed to seeing astronomical AMD CO values may no longer see them after this update. The real benefit, though, is overall system stability.

The next focus of my work was the revamped PROFILE CREATION mechanism—designed to increase the percentage of users for whom HYBRID OC proves useful. A serious emphasis has been placed on the stable operation of HYDRA and the entire system under high-intensity loads. On a five-point scale, where previously I’d rate profile readiness at about 3.5, I would now rate it between 4.2 and 4.5. Naturally, this may slightly affect the frequencies you observe compared to the last build (they might be a bit lower—or maybe not), but you’re still free to tweak HOC CO manually to adjust your final boost.

The third area of improvement was the HYBRID OC algorithms themselves. We’ve enhanced the transition to the IDLE state, improved the maintenance of the core group ready to boost under light-threaded loads (the LT profile), and increased flexibility by exposing individual settings—such as “Max CORES for LT profile” and “Extra boost for MT profile”—for finer control.

• Fixed errors and updated configuration settings for "PROFILE CREATION" (CPU diagnostics). In particular, the "GAME" profile is now created correctly.

• For easier evaluation of CPU diagnostic test efficiency, introduced encoding for test names. Some additional information has been added to the log.

• Fixed an error where HYDRA could report that the processor is not supported and crash—for example, with Ryzen APU G8000 processors.
