About the "good life" and the free extra version of HYDRA PRO.
Added 2023-08-04 11:27:27 +0000 UTCOnce again I notice angry messages in the chat that HYDRA developer lives perfectly well and doesn't develop anything. I don't see the point in justifying myself, but I want to tell you briefly what my life consists of now and what the project is.
1. There is war in my country, there is war in my frontline city. 2 days ago several shahid drones exploded 350 meters away from me. 3 days ago S300 missiles fired from Belgorod flew into the city in the middle of the night. People are dying every day. We have an air alert every hour or every half hour and a recommendation to go to a shelter. We don't have clubs, theaters, we don't have concerts or matches. Of entertainment we have a park with trees that is not lighted in the evening and grocery stores. Some coffee shops are open in the middle of the day. In the city they check documents and in some places there are checkpoints. Personal privacy is extremely limited. There is a curfew in the evening. I don't think you can call it the wonderful life that Discord-revolutionaries write about.
2. The project already contains more than 100,000 lines of ungenerated code. I haven't counted the number of research hours for a long time, but I can say with certainty that if we have electricity (it is often turned off) 3 test benches work 16-18 hours a day for more than 4 years. 1 person who develops, the same person conducts research, this person writes documentation and this person conducts earlier testing. This person communicates with you in chat when physically there is such an opportunity. Of course I am helped by guys with hearts of gold, who have a signature in Discord CPU/GPU GURU, bow down to them.
The development of the project has not stopped in any direction, but in some directions I'm really stalling because I can't find the right approach that will satisfy the majority rather than a certain percentage of the public. After a short break and some ideas from @Veii, I started a new research that should be a new generation of CPU diagnostics. The first test version will already be available at the end of the month, as usual. The second main focus is to work on the accuracy of GPU diagnostics.
3. To summarize the previous two points, I am at least offended to see rudeness or reports of "cheating". I hate to see accusations against guys who wear the CPU/GPU GURU labels. I think it's fair to apply the indefinite ban feature to sources of conflict.
4. It's no secret that AMD or NVIDIA don't like this project, as it may affect interest in new products and reduce their future profits or just show some incompetence in terms of factory optimization. Therefore, I am currently an independent developer, and your donations are the engine of further development. I also managed to buy a 2 kW solar power plant with your donations. I will say one thing, independence is very expensive.
5. Free PRO version. I would like to thank the users who have been subscribers or are subscribers now, who have been helpful or patient - the PRO version will be available at the end of September (possibly October). The time frame will vary depending on how successful the research I'm working on now is.

Given the situation it's a miracle that Yuri is even still working on this Project at all. Oh wait... This is the best project out there. Your whining and begging for proof of bad behaviour in the discord is just a bad look. I don't know what you do for a living, but I hope you're not in charge of a software team like I am because it's hard enough managing projects when you have a whole team living in cushy cities. Yuri is literally at risk of having his ass blown up, and your entitlement is just kinda cringey. If you're not getting what you think your paying for, leave. It sure looks like the rest of us are ok waiting while Yuri does what he does.

So if I follow your logic: If I'm sold on a Product for my "supported CPU" with a SPECIFIC feature, but that feature which is what I was sold on and offered does not work for my CPU (mind you for the last 5 builds) then what, that's it, as I'm not entitled to anything, because the dev could had chosen to just do something else? Hmm I guess, even if they did not deliver because of reasons, like diverting to a new thing instead of FIXING the main tool, then when they communicate things, say one thing, do another and do not deliver them, so by your logic I should just shut up and take it, or move on so I try not to hurt someone's feelings, instead of calling them out? month after month there are post all over the place stating the same thing as well. So then I'm not entitled to anything in exchange for my hmm at this point in your logic what would it be, a donation, a tip? Is not an investment as I'm not entitled to anything, it's not a subscription model because those have perks and benefits that I AM entitled to like here on Patreon, hmm I wonder if they see it the same way? But then again I'm not entitled to anything so is not that, so then what is it, is this charity? Yes definitely makes sense now. I can respect his genius and brilliant mind for what he does and tries to do, but I can't respect his behavior and lack of keeping his word or at least be upfront and not ignore situations, while answering all questions related to another. but keeping silent when asked left and right about our cpu's only ones trying to help and making him look good are the Guru's. Which another lie, tried to imply that I somehow mistreated, or insulted them or whatever was the made up thing, I have stated time and time again SHOW the proof! Any other dev or software comp had done this, people would have been decimating them online, Hell look at AMD right now with the silence on the alleged blocking of DLSS subject , But I guess since it's Yury he get's a pass somehow? Actions do speak louder than words. It's bad to put someone on a pedestal where they can do no wrong, it set's you up for disappointment

If you're not satisfied with the direction of Hydra then that's valid and perfectly okay for you to feel that way, but you can simply unsubscribe and check back in down the line when features you'd like are added. You aren't entitled to any specific features, whether or not they've been requested or promised in a future update. Life changes. Products change. Priorities shift. And if the Nvidia features are bringing in more money then most people would put more effort into that (to make more money). You're paying for a product. Other people also use this product, so it won't be perfectly suited to what you want. Unless you personally hire Yuri to create a custom version of Hydra for you then it's never going to be perfect for your needs. That's just something you have to deal with my friend. He doesn't owe you anything. And try to keep in mind that he's a human being who has to deal with real-life while he's working on all of this. The world has put him in a tough situation, yet he's still working and communicating. To me, that's pretty damn commendable of him. And if it's all "LIES" like you said, then oh well, I still find the product helpful. If it stops being what I need then I'll simply unsubscribe. Again, Yuri doesn't owe you anything. You have chosen to pay. You can choose not to pay. Making suggestions and giving feedback is great but there's no need to be a jerk.

2023-08-07 20:54:17 +0000 UTCFor me, diagnostics, or scan as it's now called - works much faster than it did a while ago. I find Hydra to be much more stable and easy to use overall. Also, I'd think that in a typical sw development project, often the original plan takes turns and new opportunities come along the way. So while I'm not an nvidia customer right now, I don't take it personal that Yuri investigates that subject. Overall I'm quite satisfied with this whole project, and if you're not, then why don't you stop subscribing and move on?

2023-08-06 17:48:44 +0000 UTCAgain Lies, show the people where such attack towards the guru's happened? hopefully you can produce that, if not wouldn't it be a FALSE accusation? like many other times and you seem to do that a lot, more on that below So after months and months of complaining of Hydra not working for US or criticizing that you are diverting your efforts and power for other things like the NVidia gpu profiler not part of the RYZEN oc tool or Ryzen ecosytem app, btw which is what you offer and what you sell here on Patreon Which is a RYZEN oc tool. would that be considered false marketing/advertisement? No one said you are having a good or great life, it was stated that what ever time you had, you are dedicating it to the other project which is the nVidia GPU stuff as that is bringing NEW that was the word NEW money which I stated I didn't blame you for that but not at the cost of sacrificing the rest of us who have been here for over 2 yrs, by ignoring us, lying and promising things in updates that never happen, like i said before if you can't deliver don't promise, don't add things that are not relevant to the project, also that new money as I stated you can at least pay someone to do your PR. If you want to take another direction with the project STATE IT, don't just assume and move on. Just like people coming in and paying not knowing there is no support for Zen2 anymore. no where in the PUBLIC post is there info about you ENDING support or no longer supporting it. again LACK OF CLEAR COMMUNICATION!!! Anyone can use patreon to verify my claims, at least is not made up stuff. Promised 2 builds a month 1 for bug fixes and one for features, never happened. Made a big announcement of less time for diagnostics now it takes x2 the time. Boasted of more stability @this point in Discord itself it's a meme to talk about Hydra being stable as we all know. Following that new money is not = with you are living the life, but it does show your character as a person and as I have stated before. A person is known for their word and actions and ability to keep it. Yes praise the Guru's they are the ones making you look somewhat good by constantly defending you even if YOU make them look bad, they don't deserve that. ps. oh still want the evidence. PS: one last thing, I always wondered... Why again didn't you ever sue Asus or AMD? Oh and you know those post you hate, you know those sympathy post pulling on peoples emotions - lying and accusing a company of stealing your ideas to gather more sympathy of little guy vs big company or accusing a person with lies and not allow them to defend themself in the PUBLIC opinion is kinda of 1 sided don't you think? If you are RIGHT and with the TRUTH on your side, why have to ban? Ball is on your side of the court, your move next.

They may not understand nor care where this project has come from and the exponential difficulty in continually improving especially in harsh living conditions and being one person who has another life. You are doing wonderfully my friend. Continue your path. Just let the negative people be negative people, let you be you, let your supporters be your supporters. You got this. Stay safe.

Some of the people jumping down your throat on the Discord need to take a step back, have some empathy, and gain some fucking perspective. (1) A very general point: you and your country men and women deserve our admiration for holding the line against one of the greatest evils of the 21st century. (2) A much more specific point: people need to remember they are paying to support an overall project with thousands of users who all have individual needs, they are not paying you to design a solution for their specific personal desires. This means sharing feedback and hoping the developer takes it on board but understanding that this is not always possible or in the interest of the overall project. (3) The Discord is a fantastic community full of extremely helpful contributors and individuals, and if there are repeat offenders who insult these people, or prescribe borderline criminal motives to the developer, you should absolutely ban them.
