My ultimate desire for the Throuple is for these three women--who are just a mess--to reach a level of emotional maturity where they can parent a baby. Kittiwake (nearly half the age of Valerie and Red) wants to produce a fledgling and we're only going to do so if the trio can handle it. On the proviso that they do (I believe in them!) they end up with wee Miles MacFirn. Kittiwake can't officially marry Val OR Red, who are married to each other, but they can afford to pull legal strings, obtain avian reproductive material and name the resulting chick after his non-biological mothers.
Miles is a golden eagle (they're downy white as babies) and superlatively well adjusted, being raised by a triumvirate of women who adore him. He appears at first glance to be a snotty hot jock, but you know he's got a heart for the community. Liz came up with a whole-ass story for him and his eventual wife (the girl has three mothers in law, heaven help her), so don't be surprised if you see us playing around in this particular sandbox.

Even if they shouldn’t be one or would be a bad parent…it’s valuable insight! I already have a kid planned out for my Sunny and Roxy even though they have awhile to get there…it’s just fun to think about :D I can’t wait to see more of this jock bird, I bet him and Kitty are like that mother/son duo who are also best friends, Val would be that slightly overprotective mom, and Red would be the loudest person at any graduation/competition

They're competitive but they know the difference between the playing field and the rest of their lives. Frankly, such people leave me in awe. Maybe Miles will end up a Renaissance Bird.
