HYDRA 1.0A PRO - DOWNLOAD!
Added 2021-09-24 16:12:21 +0000 UTCI consider this release a very important event. A huge amount of time has been devoted to optimization. The principle of estimating active (loaded cores) has been significantly changed, so that the background activity of the operating system has less impact on active profiles. Profiles "holding system" has been fundamentally redesigned and application prioritization in Windows has been added. In summary, all of the above changes have had a positive effect on stability and performance.

Changelog:
1) Optimization of the HYDRA core, which allows you to get more performance (at the same frequency) and reduce the load on the processor.
2) CO values for UEFI(BIOS) - at the end of the diagnosis the user will be offered 2 presets (SAFE and FAST). This is made especially for users who want to use only AMD's standard boost
3) Finding the ideal voltages. The user has the option of combining any preset voltages with the automatic search ideal voltages for AVX1 and AVX2 loads (temporarily for multithreaded load).
In order to use this function, the user must specify the cooling system (AIR/AIO/CUSTOM) as well as set the power and temperature limits for each load type.
This feature will receive additional enhancements in the future.
4) BOOST TEST. Diagnostic test which will check the single-threaded performance of each core individually. Fully compatible with AMD Curve Optimizer, HYDRA HYBRID OC and PBO/PB2.
5) Application prioritization in the system. Some benchmarks (with built-in monitoring) can negatively affect the performance of HYDRA and the system as a whole. To solve this problem, the user only needs to add the application to the list of programs which will provoke HYDRA to increase its priority in the system. As a result, the user will get extra performance while changing the priority of HYDRA has no negative impact on the system.
6) Updated all libraries for better compatibility with user systems.
7) Updated SETTINGS tab with partial regrouping.
8) Updated the basic settings of the application, which will be relevant to most users.
9) Fixing numerous minor bugs (including visual bugs).

Help! I did a full reset of Windows 10 to get rid of CTR. Created a folder for Hydra, downloaded 7-Zip and extracted the Hydra 1.0A into that folder and added the folder to accepted folders in windows defender. I close all programs, open Hydra, select OC and only change my TDC, edc, etc. to 200, 200, & 200, leaving max temp at 95 and all other settings default. When I run a diagnostic it just sputs out EDC limit reached! 215A for hours and stays at 0% progress. What am I doing wrong? I'm running a 5950X with an MSI MEG X570 Ace mobo. Changed LLC to 4 in bios as well as Overclock from normal to extreme and left the rest on auto as suggested.

2021-10-20 13:20:27 +0000 UTCIt's documented elsewhere that iCUE is known to interfere with Hydra (and CTR, I believe?), probably because iCUE has built-in monitoring software. That monitoring software may be active in the background, regardless of whether you have it visible or not, FYI. I use both Hydra and iCUE, and I have noticed some interference. If possible, use iCUE to create _hardware_ profiles for your various hardware effects (RGB, etc.), then enable the hardware profiles as necessary and close iCUE.

2021-09-28 17:40:57 +0000 UTCI get this pop up message "smu was unable to process the command" sometimes when windows loads up and i guess it prevents the profiles from activating. Is there any way to fix this? thanks!

2021-09-28 09:53:10 +0000 UTCThis option ("start with window") should be uncheked while running diagnostic. The program automatically restarts during the process. Also if you checked the option in previous version you should unchek it too before diagnostic in new version.
2021-09-27 22:02:42 +0000 UTCWhy my system crashed when running hydra diagnostic and it never comes back on after a restart even I already check start with Window?

2021-09-27 16:28:42 +0000 UTCHello @Yuri Bubliy, nice work. Is it planned to have the hand on idle voltage ?

2021-09-27 07:42:23 +0000 UTCAnd also in every test I hit "PPT limit reached! 171.9W". How to fix this on 5900X?

2021-09-26 22:38:00 +0000 UTCGuys, can you give an advice please, what setting in BIOS do you set, CPU load line calibration, etc? What else is required?)

2021-09-26 21:22:25 +0000 UTCDepending on what you do, this may be the norm. Profiles can switch 8000 times a minute. But there are also parasite programs that spam profile switching and reduce performance. Try not to use led programs and primitive monitoring programs

2021-09-26 18:57:42 +0000 UTC0.9 worked great with my 5950x.. however, now when I use the undervolt diagnostics the temps of the cpu hit 93+ degrees and the diagnostics force stop. My temps were much lower using undervolt with 0.9.. did I miss a new setting?

2021-09-26 12:05:45 +0000 UTCHi, is it normal that i have 500+ Stats for 1T-2T Profile in a few minutes? Why is it changing so often?
2021-09-26 11:08:53 +0000 UTCI'm worried about the result of single-threaded load, it's low. Try pressing the reset button (next to the screenshot button).

2021-09-25 13:19:47 +0000 UTCExcellent work, no crashes yet when switching between low, idle and high loads that seemed to trouble me with earlier versions (Noticed the problematic core now has a much lower CO after diagnostics) Will throw some more at it see what happens. Doesn't boost quite so high (Seems to max out at 4800 on 1T-2T would touch 5000 with earlier builds), but I can live with that for more stability
2021-09-25 09:41:02 +0000 UTCHYDRA's safety system will not let you damage your computer even if you try to do something deliberately. If you have used CTR , you should already be familiar with Max EDC, TDC and PPT. These are the only values you might have to change before the security system will stop the diagnostic process. I have a suggestion, install the application in a new folder in the settings set Max PPT 145, Max EDC 145, Max TDC 110 and press the diagnostic button. All default settings that the application uses is my recommendation. That is, these settings should be optimal for all users.

2021-09-25 09:24:50 +0000 UTCThis is a proven problem. The main reason is a weak one of the cores. Path 1.0B coming soon (few days)

2021-09-25 09:13:31 +0000 UTCThis is a completely new standalone version, the only thing you have to do is copy the profiles from the previous version

2021-09-25 09:11:38 +0000 UTCit means that another monitoring program prevents HYDRA from working

2021-09-25 00:03:14 +0000 UTCSo far, each individual cores have been tested and it is now on all core testing, only 4 reboots for me on this one, phoenix started right back up and kept going. Guesstimating another 20-30 minutes left, I think total has been around 5-6 hours total. I'm going to keep track of time for those interested on the next two cpus, a 5900X and 5800X. Actually, just finished, saving and appling profiles and will be running it through it's paces later this evening. Fine job again Yuri.

2021-09-24 23:38:23 +0000 UTCI have tried running the tool, however after pre heaitng the cooler, the system crashes with the following error in the system events: Reported by component: Processor Core Error Source: Machine Check Exception Error Type: Cache Hierarchy Error Processor APIC ID: 1 For what is worth it, there is also other wierd behaviour that the app does not show the tempereatures and frequency at all on the cores, which seems to be abnormal compared to the PDF guide. Any idea what could cause this?
2021-09-24 23:15:39 +0000 UTCRunning new diagnostics on a 16 core. I'll see y'all tomorrow when it finishes :D XOC presets working good so far when I couldn't get past test #1 previously. Using the der8aur Ryzen mount to offset the waterblock and changed to an Optimus block over EK, interested to see temps once it is all set back up.

2021-09-24 20:35:44 +0000 UTCIm very much a beginner. I have a 5600X. I used CTR with no problems but Hydra is a little overwhelming for me but I want to use it. What puts me off is the fact I cant just turn it on, press 'Diagnostics' and let it do it's thing and hey presto! everything has been done for me, I just have to switch it on when I need it. In the pdf of Hydra, it says I have to do things like, ''do not forget to increase the Max EDC, Max TDC and Max PPT limits in the SETTINGS tab. In most cases, it is sufficient to increase these values by 30-40.'' Messing around with these settings is way out of my comfort zone. I dont want to mess my system up. Can someone tell me what is the easiest way to get this to run for noobs like me that wont put our pc's at risk and dont have to mess around with the settings too much?

2021-09-24 20:21:18 +0000 UTCIs there anyway to update the version inside the client? or ido you just need to download the new version and run it from there? thanks!
