Speaking of turtles...I actually drew this one about a year ago and forgot to post it! Allow me to introduce Hjördis Andersson, sea turtle mechanic. Everyone calls her Loggerhead.

Hjördis was one of many colorful characters that influenced young Franzie's life when Das Kätzchen was growing up /buck/ wild in 1950-60s San Fransisco. The mighty turtle could fix anything that went VROOM, and Franzie was intensely infatuated with her. Loggerhead was Franzie's first love, but Hjördis had always told the truth, lord she was an honest herp. Loggerhead was very willing to be Franzie's protector and friend with benefits, but the turtle would not (and did not) settle down. Franzie and Loggerhead remained close their whole lives, even after Franzie moved to St. Charlies with Alsesta. Certain things are understood, and if Alsesta pisses her wife off so badly that Franzie has to cross the country to go crying to Loggerhead, the sow dun really fucked up.
