General Lisska's spouses didn't want to keep Stabhammer, citing they would not be compelled to remember their wife as a newt who lusted for war. It was too nice a weapon to leave lying around in the Sands, so Yunan kept it. Some time later, Yunan promised Stabhammer to her daughter Marcy Jr., though the tiny mudpuppy would have to get much stronger before she could properly control such a mighty bludgeon. Junior trained intensely for years until her mother finally trusted her with Lisska's weapon. It would be Junior's devotion to her family and the town that would solidify her place in the hierarchy of Wartwood's protectors.
