Comes a point in the narrative where Piggy Sue agrees to be a surrogate for Itzel and Cass, who want to have a baby. This is very cute and delightful, but it's also the major blowout that Piggy Sue and Clem experience in their relationship. For one thing, Piggy Sue volunteered her womb before discussing the matter with her partner. Furthermore, Clem is very afraid of something going wrong; Piggy Sue could get sick or even die, and if the pregnancy becomes dangerous, their state will not allow termination. Ultimately Clem supports Piggy Sue in her decision, but it stresses her out considerably.
