Awesome stuff Ben! Any chance you could do a quick video or talk about shredding riffs sitting vs standing and the effects of wrist angle? Do you switch from your pinky to your ring finger on the higher frets? What tricks e.g., strap height, shifting the guitar to a different position, propping a leg or anything to make it more better?

Hey Uncle Benโฆ.. Great lesson not confounded by your congestion but made slightly funny by a weird internet feed glitch with audio-video out of sync ๐. You presented like a bad โ70s Kung Fu movieโฆ albeit with cool licks ๐ค๐ผ๐ถ๐ถ๐ฆ๐บ. Drink you hot green tea & rest ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ. And Iโll get on with my acts of kindness and wage peace โฎ๏ธโฆ.. I really like this video. Didnt think I could even come close to shredding but with this pattern I can at least sound a little fast. A monthly video with another great pattern would be nice (hint)

Reminds me of the famous Hook and Mouth lead by Jeff Young off of Megadeth's SFSGSW! That would be a great song to show us how to play one day if you're looking for some ferocious deep cuts to teach.

Great lesson! No chicks, not rich, but drill has bonus of exposure to different modal patterns as you move up (down) which is helpful with connectivity. The BatM ascending fours across all modes is a b*tch but great 2WPS drill. At some point will add descending. These cycle lessons are fantastic -- perfect for autonomic couch stuff.
