I was playing along with rhythm guitar, and also some bass. Really fun and great practice. Gonna earmark this one for the future. Thanks for this series.

2025-11-27 19:01:23 +0000 UTCAt 6:39, I like that choice of note progression a lot. There was a wisp of VH's 'Feel Your Love Tonight,' just a faint echo. For someone who isn't much of a blues player, you do a great job of it! In the early 90s, I'd practice my chops and come up with songs on my harmonicas in a big stairwell that wrapped around a freight elevator. This was an historical building too, out Seattle way. Very bluesy feel with the old wood, the dusty bricks and the reverbiness of the place. As time passed people would drop by briefly and comment on my playing or find me later on the floor I worked, and do it then. That was a good feeling. I was just playing out to the world and it would come back to me, here and there. And, lots of times I was playing to deal with something emotionally, take it where words ended and only emotions lived. That helped a lot too. When it comes to errors just remember Patti Smith at the Nobel Awards in 2016. That was something to see and how the crowd reacted was as well. She said the experience while terrifying was also very affirming about people. You're right, Uncle Ben, people understand making a mistake is so very human and it can bring out the best in us. Besides, how could anyone get gooder if'n they didn't fail? Last thing. Can a guitar make a train sound? It can be done on harmonica but you have to cheat with a bit of vocals while playing. Happy Thanksgiving!
