On your worst day, which was not this day, you play better than 99.9% of all guitarists on earth. Love that dreamy EJ tone. I hate the bendy displacement on the floating trems as well but have come to terms with this and the poor sustain. The opportunity cost of the 80's metal shredder. I also like picking up a hardtail afterwards for a corrective experience.

For this one, I feel like the backing track was a bit busy and didnβt give your soloing a true opportunity to breathe. I really enjoyed the vibe of your solo overall - way better than anything I can crank out at this point as an intermediate beginner coming back to guitar after a quarter century hiatus! I just feel like the backing and solo were competing too much against each other. But again, I love that youβre doing these videos - a lot of nuances to learn from, and refreshing to see a more accomplished player openly displaying the process of working through an area that he feels is a weakness.
