I travelled to Berlin to watch a band that I haven't seen since 1990! That band is Prong. Please could you do a feature on that band. They have some killer riffs, strange tunings and a catalogue of work, stretching back to the late 80s. Not sure if Tommy Victor's work is underrated, hope not!

Man, I gotta work on building up speed. Always been my biggest hurdle. I know practice practice practice is the answer but I’ve got 30 years of muscle memory to go against and descending runs are my Achilles heel. Ascending runs I can play pretty fast. Maybe it’s not even the licks I’m practicing but the way I practice. I don’t know but I’ve been trying to unlock it since 1994. Maybe we could explore alternate shapes to the minor pentatonic scale?

Muting while tapping for sure. Legato would be sick, I have a hard time with those satch style lines. Hybrid picking would also be cool.
