In brief we'll have something enjoyable for most people and more hardcore than usual.

Might sound bizarre but hear me out, how about 18, rather then Frieza, appears in the Cave and takes advantage of Goku when he's just been blasted away by Jiren. 18 convinces Goku that it will Increase his energy regen rate. All whilst Krillin watches and enjoys. Skip to the end of ToP, Krillin blackmails Goku to get a shot at Chichi. Decent way to branch out into different types of comics / characters. (Chichi, Videl, Gohan, etc..) That's just my opinion however.. or Kale and Caulifla take advantage of Goku and try to get him to reveal the secrets to ssj3, ssjg, and ssjb. or Krillin is Damaged 18 transforms and just like Super 17, Super 18 is Introduced. I'll leave her to your Imagination.
