I love nabbing ideas from my favorite Instagram follows, and the other day Phil X posted something i immediately knew i HAD to steal and incorporate into my own playing! Ever since i started doing this idea, it has been ALL OVER my playing! There's so much you can do with it, pentatonic or otherwise. Try it out, you're gonna rip it FAST!

2022-06-03 02:19:27 +0000 UTCI found a similar lick several years ago on a Cole Rolland video that stretched the pinkie finger to that next pentatonic note, which opened up this same idea to me and also in reality got me to be able to make that stretch which I couldn't previously do. Definitely opens up a whole new world. I'm still having some trouble on the A and D strings with the "root"-2-5's between the stretch and any speed. But like you say, you can incorporate this everywhere. Excellent lesson as always!
