2022-12-23 16:53:52 +0000 UTCBecause it is sending your picking hand in the direction of the next note after the one you are referring too, which needs to be a downstroke to play efficiently at high speed. At least that is how I have learned my picking techniques from the great Uncle Ben anyway.
