Patreon Devlog update 008: Finished Backgrounds, CGs and Sprites!

Finished Backgrounds
The backgrounds are finally finished, and while they took longer than we thought they would (there was a lot of layering involved for future implementations 👀💦), they’re looking fly and cute! perfect locations for dates and good moments, don’t you think?
Also can’t wait to populate them with all sorts of background folks, so be on the look out for that! ;3
So What’s next?
Well, what’s left in the art department for the next update is a couple of CGs (which Mango will be working on live on discord, if anyone is interested in checking that out ;3) and a few new sprites for new characters that are in the works already, and while confidence is a trap here, we think it’s not going to take too long before all art for this chapter is finished and the update is finally ready to come out!

While there are many things that can get in the way of a smooth schedule and timely delivery, there’s no bigger factor than just being stretched a bit too thin with all of the things you wanna do in your life hehe. We try to avoid overscheduling and cramming too much into our lives but sometimes it’s hard not to get too excited about the prospects and plan ahead with a very optimistic (or naive, depending on how you see it) mentality, and that always leads to all kinds of consequences.
That being said we try our darndest to find a balance between working hard and taking care of ourselves! :3
