Floor lamp is a magic glowing spear/halberd. Remote control for the TV is a lightsaber. There's guns hidden inside the books, knives behind the couch cushions and both the couch and Dex can be used as improvised thrown weapons. There are several vials of heat-reactive explosives in the freezer, the light can flicker in a way that causes seizures if the right switch is flipped, and the cactus is pointy as hell. The two swords and the axe are expensive, blunted collectable merchandise that would snap the second they were swung in anger.
