The Sales Tax Thing
Added 2020-05-28 21:32:40 +0000 UTCHey, in case you haven't heard; starting July 1st, Patreon is gonna start adding sales tax to some patrons' pledges. If you’re in a location where sales tax will be required, you should receive an email from Patreon with more info about this soon.
Depending on where you are, the tax will be 4% to 11%. Since I only have the $5 tier, it will be 55 cents at most.

I'm Dutch, so I've been paying 21% sales tax on all my pledges for almost 2 years now - I'll be fine.
