"Two down. Where's the—" A shadow fell across him. The third hunter—the largest—had circled during the fight. It loomed over him now, having approached silently from behind while he was distracted. If he buried it and considered it out of the fight, why was he now expecting it back?

Quite an insult to Thorgen if Bob was struggling to lift him. Bob literally played tug of war with gang of golems. Practically solo.

Another fun fact, the whispers of the dryad are inspired from the stars talking to Tristan in Stardust. Another great book/movie I watched, then loved so much I read it as a kid. In my mind, they speak just like those stars. AND another fun fact, the incantation the whispers taught Adom was the oldest language known to man: Sumerian. This one was a bit harder for me to translate with Google (dead language and all) so I used chatGPT to give me a translation of the incantation. It reads: My power, obey me. Into my heart, withdraw. Outward do not escape. Into my grasp, remain. Boy, if there's ever an audiobook of this, I hope the voice actor can forgive me for putting them through this lol. Also, the sneeze joke was a bit I saw on instagram once.
