This time it comes down to how many of the total votes for each topic across both sites are actually valid. I've got a good feeling, but I'm crossing my fingers there werent a bunch of numbskulls switching their votes around or something else that would invalidate their contribution.

2024-06-09 21:56:42 +0000 UTCA fair question. I think the answer is, "Yes, but with caveats." If it wasn't a valid selection, it wouldnt have been added to the prelims, let alone the finals. The caveats, however, are known only to The Doctor. Its safe to say there will be some. Also, if its a direct sequel to the first, it stands to reason that it would pick up where the 1st ended and that was centered squarely upon Pacifica and the original Dipper.
