I don't know if its so much out of favor as much as just the ideas lack...excitement for lack of a better word (don't get me wrong you are still killing it with the art and making a story). As much as I love all the GD characters (id still kill for a good Ayane idea) to many times people are falling back on those characters and others of your own creation...honestly the ideas are becoming less and less original and uninspired...like teen titans....a paring of BB and raven is half expected, but BB and Mystique...battle of the shape shifters...or the Rouge...why not Superman? I just feel like there are ideas out there that would be more fun, especially for you to draw. Maybe every third month should be your ideas, it still lets people nominate ideas, but lets you inject some original ideas (and maybe inspire others). Just my two cents, im probably in the minority.
