O..M..G.. was this an amazing freakin episode... I loved everything about it. The Lil-actors, the story, the filming style, the everything. I liked the everything. How the heck they got their hands on a time machine to get a high school aged Dean I will never understand. I swear that was Dean at that age and not another actor. Not just the voice but all the mannerisms. The way he spoke, walked, acted and reacted was absolutely perfect!! Lil-Sam was awesome too. The tender, sweet, heartfelt but whip your a** if you push him too far felt like Sam. It was really amazing seeing the backstory with Sam at that early age questioning what he wanted to do with life. And omg, Dean as the gym teacher was freakin spectacular! That look just fit him so well. I had so much fun watching that entire scene. Best part was probably the closing scene with Sam and old teach... If anyone has ever had a teacher like that you understand the feeling. Sometimes a single conversation with one teacher one day can really make an impact. Being able to see them later in life and thank them properly would be an incredible feeling for them both. You probably can't tell... but this episode is one of my favorites. That list is getting long but this one stands out. I love going back in time in this story. We always learn so much. Oh Yea. Octavia And Caroline On Supernatural!!! Yes please. So much fun!

Both of the actors who played the “Wee-chesters” (as fandom calls them) do such a good job! Jared & Jensen spent a little time with Brock & Colin to help them with some mannerisms to really nail Sam & Dean and BOY can you tell! It makes me smile that Colin’s growth mirrors Jared’s - Jared has commented that he was very short until he was a junior or senior in high school and if you’ve seen Colin recently (no spoilers, he’s been in a few projects) he grew into a bean pole around 18. | I’m with you regarding the flashbacks. I love them and I love learning about how the boys grew up and also about their family. | Thanks for another fun video. See you next time. XXOO

2019-07-18 00:03:46 +0000 UTCI really did enjoy this episode a lot too. As I've said before, season four isn't one of my favorite seasons by any means and a lot of its episodes from here until past the halfway point in season five for the most part are just kind blah... However, this episode is one of the exceptions. I really enjoyed it, despite it having nothing to do with the major storyline with Castiel, Ruby, Lilith, and the 66 seals. Honestly, I feel that's why I really like this episode. As much as I love Castiel and some of the angels and demons storyline, I miss the episodes like seasons one and two that were more "monsters of the week" like. Plus... like you, I also really liked seeing the flashbacks for Sam and Dean, and the actors chosen to play them. I especially loved young Sam played by Colin Ford in this episode. Thank you! Until next time...

All the crap they went through with John dragging them back and forth across the country. Such amazing young actors playing them. I really enjoyed this one
