at first it was funny how he was joking around and taking it, but i really think there will be a point where the severity of the situation hits him and he breaks down. after awhile it was bothering me how well he “seemed” to be taking it.

This was a decent first episode of season 3. Who knows what Hell has released on the earth, and how the death of Yellow Eyes will change things. Given what Pride said, I guess the demons' "Plan" has gone up in smoke. So is that each demon for himself now? I, of course, was already unhappy at the start when this first aired. Seeing how cavalier Dean was acting didn't help! But I thought I knew why he was. Partly, what he told Sam was likely true. That he was relieved. LIke a weight has been lifted. How often did he keep telling himself that he shouldn't be alive anyway? ugh! Frustrating. And I also worried that partly why dean made the Deal was because he thought he'd be going to Hell anyway, for what he's done in life. I'm recalling the little statement he made during Croatoan - the phrase "too late for that" he threw out there stuck with me. Worried me. If you think you're going to Hell anyway, well . . . ugh! Okay, now lets see Sam and Bobby figure this thing out!

I think you are really going to like this season alot. They just get better and better. Great episodes this season, can't wait to see the next one!
