I missed the clues the first time. This episode had a good atmosphere and I love how they pay homage to The Shining in little ways throughout. A good solid monster of the week.

2019-01-09 22:01:14 +0000 UTCWow. I really didn't expect you to like it that much. Great Reaction. This is an episode I have never liked nearly as much as most of the others from this season. Watching you React to it, though, has helped me see it through your eyes. One reason I love Reaction videos. The part I've always focused on was the scene in the hotel room with Drunk - yet still adorable - Sam. Finding out what John said to Dean has really gotten to him. Which is understandable. Poor guy! That would really suck, being told something like that about yourself. I think this whole issue is starting to break apart that pedestal Dean put John on. The weight of it is messing with him and he's not too happy about it all, and he's actually showing some anger at John about it. He started showing signs of breaking that hold John had over him last season. I think it could have been Sam's influence that brought that forth. It was he and Sam fighting together as a team. Alone. Without John. That's gotta be all for the good, I think. And it also looks like Dean is maybe past all that angsting. Opening up to Sam finally may have been a big relief and keeping all that to himself may have been fueling some of that angst - or a lot of it. But now we're getting some angsty Sammy. Puppy dog Sam. I hope you like the next one. I do!
