as for Kiki's reaction to the gift certificate from Mia, Kiki went above and beyond to find the exact right gift for Mia and Mia at the last minute looked through her stuff to regift and in the end bought her a $10 gift certificate to buy clothes. I think this might be kind of representative of both Kiki and Miaa... Kiki gives everything, even when she doesn't have to and it maybe won't be appreciated and even though people don't do the same for her... and Mia puts too little thought into what her actions represent? If you think of it that way, Alex's gift to Kiki meant a lot to Kiki... in that it was above and beyond, but to her that represents importance to her where to him it really probably didn;t mean much. Kiki needs more people in her life being caring in a reasonable way so she learns some perspective and Mia really missed an opportunity to do that buy buying her a crappy last minute gift certificate.

I feel like she genuinely doesn't like him, and that she's going to make him earn it... and I think he WILL. I know many people don't agree, but I felt like OG William was an asshole and never really changed until he was magically a nice guy in the finale. I also feel like this storyline with her getting with him will be a bigger deal than it was in OG because he's actually dating Kiki and she's going to be rightfully heartbroken
