Totally agree about how rushed everything was with Evak, but I didn't see that as them being more serious. I saw that as them being more young and sorta reckless. Like wild abandon... I saw Nico and Rocco as more serious in a way. Or more mature at least. The way they sorta took their time and had more control... Like you, I'm not saying one is better than the other--- just different. But it's funny how two people can see the same thing and interpret it totally different.

Isak and Even were more... passionate? like... dramatic and rushed... more serious. crushing kisses, serious looks, pushing against walls, hurrying to remove clothing, more fear. You could see this in a lot of scenes. not a better or worse comparison, but just an overall difference in the mood was that everything rushed in OG was slowed down in Italia... Isak and Even: were more serious, they kissed harder, things were more anxious and needy (not in a bad way)... the swimming pool kiss, for instance, was hurried, all grabbing at each other. The scene where Even surprised Isak by showing up at Isak's house, he had to rush his friends out, then they were ripping clothes off and pushing each other against the wall all serious. Isak woke scared that Even had left again. The hotel scene was kissing in the elevator, but then straight to a passionate sex scene. Sonja showed up almost immediately while Isak was still panicked. The church scene the text scared Isak and he had to run to find Even. Marti and Nico: In Italia in the pool scene, they took their time, they smiled, paused, and kissed again. Nico had to travel further to get to Marti at the cabin, Marti had warning that he was coming, his friends left on their own and told them they'd be back in 2 hours, they were softer and slower with their kisses, smiling at each other in the hallway. There was no panic in the morning when Nico was still in his bed. They sex scene at the "hotel" took it's time. It took all night for Nico's ex girfriend to show up. Also, Nico didn't scare Marti with his text, he told him he was fine and Marti had to take his time to find him.
