Loved your reaction. This is one of my favourite S2 episodes. I love the story and I love the information we learn from it. I also love how Sam almost finds hope through Andy because he doesn't appear to be evil and I love how Dean is clearly worried but refuses to admit it until he is forced to tell the the truth. I agree with Michele. Dean finds it hard to trust people and is hesitant to tell Jo and Ellen because of Sam's connection to the demon. He is clearly uncomfortable with it himself as well.

2018-12-12 02:46:39 +0000 UTCAnd since it seems like there's sharing of videos of Jensen singing, share two that will give a perspective on how far he's come. Started off super nervous and shy about singing in front of a lot of strangers. With this one back in 2007. Would only sing accompiement, no solo. After much begging by fans, and helpful nudge by his friend, Jason Manns, who's the professional singer in this one. https://youtu.be/wuNTxyXqd04 Then, in 2010 he finally sang a bit solo for the first time, also with his friend Jason. Still pretty nervous, and having to keep looking at Jason, but so cute. Can tell he really enjoys it, but is just nervous in front of so many strangers/fans. Sigh. https://youtu.be/1dkmKnjxaZk He can bately even make himself look at the aidience, hes so nervous. And then it took 5 more years before he started to actually sing for real, aND regularly, at the conventions.

2018-12-12 02:41:53 +0000 UTCMost people do, or they think he's joking too just like you. I think I did too at first, until I saw him wearing the cast in Simon Says. Only I didn't realize it was actually Jared who broke his wrist and not Sam until the interview.

2018-12-12 02:30:58 +0000 UTCwow! i totally missed it. i was like did i just block out the entire part where he broke his wrist? i do remember him saying it but i thought he was joking since he got tackled!
2018-12-12 02:16:04 +0000 UTCGreat Reaction Ky. I like your comments - they're pretty close to what I was thinking when I first saw this. It is a good episode. It gives us more information and things to chew on. I like that. You can skip the Then preview and not get spoiled on the upcoming episode. Sometimes there are pretty big spoilers in the preveiw part. I think the gun store guy knew the customer pretty well, so didn't think twice about doing what he did. But it was pretty stupid, even so. The director actually told Jensen to sing badly. So that is him singing "badly". Sam thought it would be connected to another "special" child because he had visions that led him to Max Miller - the first special kid they met who was killing people. So he's thinking that these visions might be connected to another special kid. Dean knows that Jo is interested in him, and he'd normally be interested in her, but he said something to her the last time that basically said he just wasn't up to it right now. Also, maybe he knows it wouldn't just be a one night, or casual, thing with Jo. Which would make things tricky. Especially since Cassie. Why get that close if you will just have to leave? He's got a lot on his mind right now too. Sam is really worried about what's going on, and he's trying to find answers. Dean is worried about Sam and worried about the answers they'll find. He's trying to keep Sam from worrying too much, I think. And he's pretty worried about anyone else finding out about Sam and that he's connected to a Yellow Eyed demon somehow, along with who knows how many other kids. And that there's apparently somet plan to do with them. He's worried about what other Hunter's would do. He doesn't trust many people - for good reason. And Hunters - well, Gordon isn't that much different from other Hunters. So he wasn't wanting to fill in Ellen because of her connection to other Hunters. He really doesn't know her. Plus, everytime they go to the Roadhouse, there's a risk. And even using Ash worries Dean. But Sam is insistent on figuring things out. Which he should be. But he could try to be more careful about it. He doesn't seem to have as much concern about others knowing as Dean does. But, Dean is also just scared about it, but trying to act strong. John's not around to lean on anymore. I was really happy that Ellen and Jo were back in another episode, and that Ellen was finally filled in and seemed to be wanting to help. I think Dena knew it wasn't Andy because Dean follows his instincts a lot. His "gut". I like Andy. He's really cool. How do you know what's going to happen in these episodes? You're psychic, aren't you? Sam will want to meet you.

2018-12-12 02:14:03 +0000 UTCThat's too bad. But it's funny the things we remember even after all these years. Season two feels like so long ago now. And it was.

2018-12-12 01:41:29 +0000 UTCFunnily enough, he was just asked about this at the Jax convention at the weekend. He still has the scar from the surgery.

2018-12-12 01:09:07 +0000 UTCAh... right. But he does realize something's definitely wrong with his arm during the filming of the previous episode. :)

2018-12-12 01:07:25 +0000 UTCI always love when they show Dean singing. Little fun fact, Jensen made Dean not sing that well on purpose. He thought it would be funng if Dean actually wasn't that god in singing... Meanwhile, Jensen: https://youtu.be/L4UDkiZccYs?t=59 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yumMWEpDeLw https://youtu.be/hcEv1b68Lkw?t=54

2018-12-12 01:01:25 +0000 UTCSam broke it then, but Jared actually broke it during the hotel fight scenes in the Bloodless episode before Children. It wasn't until filming Children that he went to a doctor and realized it was broken. Had to have surgery on it even.

2018-12-12 00:16:26 +0000 UTCSo... at the end of the last episode, What's Dead Should Stay Dead, after the brothers take care of the zombie girl, Sam makes a very quick comment to Dean that he thinks he had broken his wrist. Most people miss this comment, or simply don't think anything on it. However, Jared Padalecki, who plays Sam actually did break his wrist during the scene when the zombie girl tackles him to the ground just before Dean shows up to finish her off by forcing her back into her coffin, while they're filming this scene. In order to help the show's viewers understand why Sam is wearing a cast for the next several episodes, Jared explains all of this in an interview shortly after they filmed this episode.
