So I was just rewatching this episode and noticed you got robbed of the original song that played over the end scene. You did very well at predicting what would happen with this episode, good job! You are right that Dean and Sam still have issues to resolve because they are definitely not on the same page. Dean seems to really idolise their dad and because of how they were raised which often resulted in life or death situations, I think Dean just got very used to saying ''Yes sir'' and following orders. Sam was just a baby when this originally happened so he was obviously too young at first to be able to get into the life. It definitely isn't healthy and I can understand Sam's frustration but at the same time, it's all that Dean has ever known, I don't think he knows how to act any differently but he does say on the phone that he has always admired how Sam knows what he wants and how he stands up to their dad. Maybe he feels that he can't for whatever reason? Maybe he doesn't want to let their dad down. I love how you have already picked up on the fact that it isn't about Dean needing Sam or Sam needing Dean, it's about the fact that they need each other and that is why I still love this show to this day. It's about the brothers and their relationship. I have babbled, sorry! Can't wait for the next reaction.
