Its hard being objectivein episode 2, having seen every other episode of every SKAM, including all of Austin S1... I think they purposely made Zoya more aggressive, they took OG Sana's habit of speaking her mind, her way if being 100% certain in her knowledge and opinions (even when wrong) and put it in the experiences of a black Muslim girl in Texas in 2018... what is her life like, what is SHE like? What has she put up with that makes her come into a room already throwing fists? I like it her being not very likable. Same with Kelsey and her needy likability. At this point Jo was already my favorite character. Marlon can kiss my ass, the manipulative gaslighting shithead. Lol

2018-07-01 16:18:44 +0000 UTCBut Zoya DID come off as too aggressive in this episode. Like, she was pushing the tough girl role a bit too hard. Then again, I thought the original Sana was arrogant and a bully at first too. I suppose it's Julie pushing them to really establish the character in the beginning, and then later showing the other sides to them. Much like the Vilde characters come off as VERY ditzy at first, and then get further developed.
