Next on my chopping block was finally digging into the Blender to DAZ Studio plugin we picked up last month โ€”

So... how's it holding up?

๐Ÿงช Early Impressions:
โœ… Works for simple props
โŒ Fails for rigged clothing or anything that needs proper DAZ skinbinding
โ— Auto-scales to Blender's default size โ€” meaning you must rescale inside DAZ, which breaks Transfer Utility
๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Textures export only if materials are Principled BSDF โ€” even then, some came in janky and needed manual re-setup

It might have utility for quick prop tests, but this add-on is not yet viable for major projects or commission work. Until I find a clean way to reset object scale to โ€œ0.00โ€ inside DAZ without error, it's a hard pass for big jobs.

But hey โ€” I did manage to get something cool through it, and since this community helped make that possible...

Pulled from Marvel Rivals while I was hunting for Peni Parkerโ€™s mech files, this prop is the Fantastic Four hover car. Itโ€™s been scaled to fit the Genesis base and verified with a few of my own converted characters.
