An autistic woman who keeps asking what’s wrong with her has reportedly forgotten the many, many things that are wrong with her, it has been rumoured.
Ellie Mulligan, 36, makes the same enquiry every time she’s too unwell to get out of bed, makes a social faux pas or accidentally punches herself in the face while brushing her teeth, despite being fully aware of her autism and gazillion comorbidities.
Mulligan said: “This is the fifth time I’ve lost my glasses today and found them on my own face. That last time I even took them off to clean them so I could look better. What’s wrong with me?”
“Oh yeah, the ADHD.”
Mulligan’s wife, Sarah Harrow, 38, commented: “There’s nothing WRONG with you, Ellie. You’re just…”
“Different, yeah yeah I know,” Mulligan responded. “But seriously - what’s WRONG with me?”
