Your autism diagnosis comes with a mandatory promotion to role model that you neither want nor are you qualified to fulfil, sources have revealed.
Having spent five years on an NHS waiting list, hoping for external validation that might offer some meagre legal protections, you instead received the lifelong obligation to be an inspiration to the next generation.
Clinical psychologist, Karen Hoyland, explained: “Well - you definitely have autism. I give you a year - to write your bestselling memoir.”
“Advice on how to process this new information?” Hoyland continued, laughing. “No, we don’t have any of that. We do have this playlist of inspirational background music, which we advise that you keep on a loop while going about your daily activities.”
“Now repeat the following affirmation,” Hoyland continued. “All better now. A bit louder for the camera.”
You reportedly sighed heavily and got to work writing your mandatory letter to your younger self.
