An autistic man’s boss has begun to assign him tasks via the medium of increasingly complex riddles, it has been confirmed.
PR account director Ryan Wilkins, 54, has always been vague in his instructions, according to direct report Lucas Fletcher, 29, but has recently begun behaving like he’s compiling crossword clues for The Times.
Fletcher explained: “Ryan’s emails used to just be vaguely unhelpful. He’d say something like ‘deal with client’ and expect me to know what that meant. But recently he’s become even more creative in his one-man mission to confuse the shit out of me.”
Wilkins said: “More energy is inside the bane of my existence.”
Wilkins continued: “It’s a pressing matter in Paris.”
Fletcher was last seen at the Tesco Express round the corner from his office muttering “why didn’t he just fucking say he wanted French-press coffee beans.”
