Film studios have received complaints after DVD releases of popular blockbusters failed to provide an option to turn off an autistic man’s running commentary, his family have reported.
Wallace Murray, 41, considers his many opinions and additional facts about the quality and making of the film respectively to be “basically a director’s cut”.
Murray’s experience of directing has so far been confined exclusively to traffic.
He said: “If Buzz Lightyear has no idea he’s a toy, why does he go limp every time Andy enters the room? He’d be a liability!”
“Did you know Pixar wanted to manufacture and sell Sid’s scary toys?” He continued. “I wish they’d done it. I’d have loved a baby-headed spider.”
Murray’s wife, Emma Murray, 38, said: “For God’s sake, Wallace, you just talked all over the ‘falling with style’ bit.”
