An autistic couple have decided to take the next step in their relationship by no longer masking their autistic traits and instead just raw-dogging that autism, it has been claimed.
Paige Thomas, 28, and her girlfriend Liz McHodge, 31, made the joint decision to be their full, unprotected autistic selves after six months together.
“We were basically living together at that stage,” said Thomas. “So it made sense for her to stop pretending the sound of the washing machine beeping every five seconds wasn’t driving her to murder, and for me to finally admit that I’m a cat. Miaow.”
McHodge said: “Things do get a bit weird sometimes, like when we both start talking in a strange accent neither of us can place, and the time Paige started infodumping about her bookmark collection in the middle of sex. But we’re not ashamed of our love.”
Thomas added: “Plus we’ve each been as bizarre as each other, so we both have kompromat, should it not work out.”
