Disgraceful! Autistic child has audacity to become autistic adult

An autistic man has come under fire from autism awareness groups after having the temerity to turn eighteen, sources have confirmed.
Dexter Livingstone, 18, who used to be a child, thoughtlessly entered adulthood this week, turning him from an adorable little squidge into a pain in the backside overnight.
A spokesperson for autism charity, Autism Freaks, said: “Dexter used to love trains, Lego and having his meltdowns filmed for his mum’s Instagram. But the second he turned eighteen, he started getting gobby and using words like ‘consent’, ‘toxic’ and ‘child abuse’ - concepts he didn’t even have capacity to understand a week ago.”
“He went from a sad little boy we could all feel sorry for to a sad man whose cheeks we definitely don’t want to pinch,” they continued.
Mum Karen Livingstone, 48, commented: “It’s like I’ve lost him twice. First to the autism and now to no longer being able to market his autism for sympathy and financial gain.”
Dexter Livingstone could be reached for comment, but has been deemed no longer worth listening to.
