Added 2023-03-09 04:00:02 +0000 UTCI've grown to dislike Star Trek's transporters where they essentially kill you and rebuild a new you elsewhere. So in Star League's setting, this teleportation system works more like a door that temporarily connects two distant areas of space together.

2023-03-10 04:21:34 +0000 UTCI believe that was the attitude in the original series it just changed over time like humans went from "If I travel over 30kmh horrible things will happen to my body" to "Stupid 110kmh speed limit I shall go 200kmh there's no traffic". Also someone's feeling cocky assuming just because they're remote operating a drone bad things wont happen to them. Even laying aside all the uknown stuff these ships run into hacking is an option and now I have your ship.
